Our Mission and Objective

EdoHost was launched in early March 2005 to meet the growing demand of companies aiming for an online presence. Due to being seriously overpriced by most local web hosting companies, Bruneians tend to have the idea that having an online presence may breaks the bank. We are here to change that thought, and with a maximum charge of $8.60/mth there is no reason one cannot get online.

EdoHost merged with a local private hosting server in May 2006 and a new management team was formed to run the company. It now operates 2 entities: EdoHost Internet and EdoHost System Control.

EdoHost Internet manages internal server operations and security while EdoHost System Control administers user files and databases. The two have separate shareholder bodies, but operate as one business under a single management structure.

Our objective is to increase the number of local sites and boost the nation ecommerce to the extent that it can be listed as one of Paypal and Clickbank-accepted country, and to fulfill such aim we are setting the prices to what they should really be: 30 or even 100 times (depending on which company you currently use) cheaper than the average local market price.

We currently use 2 servers; both Intel Dual Xeon 3.0 GHz server 4GB RAM SATA 250 GB w/ RAID 1 with 100mbit Ethernet card, and datacenter facilities located at Dallas, Texas and San Francisco, California, USA. By hosting with us, we can assure you 99% uptime guarantee, speed and reliability of you site. You can choose to manage you site solely by your own through CPanel or allow us to manage your site for a small fee (only non-profit organization and business sites will be accepted for this service, we encourage individuals to get acquaintance with CPanel, if you are not familiar with CPanel, you can learn here)

Best Screen Resolution

EdoHost and most major websites in the world set the optimal screen resolution to 1024 x 768 pixels, to do so right click your screen, click properties, click the settings tab and change your screen resolution to 1024 x 768 pixels. You can get an optimal view EdoHost and perharps most other websites using this setting.
